Starting July 1st, 2022, PASC will begin encrypting any personal information. Encrypted emails prevent sensitive data from being released and protect personally identifiable information. This is a new law that all entities that send personal information via email or text must comply with. So ANY document (i.e. Provider Referral List, Eligibility Letters) or email that contains your personal information will be encrypted for your protection. For our encrypted emails, we use a software called ProofPoint. Emails that have been encrypted will be kept in your ProofPoint inbox for 15 days. After 15 days, it is automatically deleted from your ProofPoint inbox. Watch the video below after you receive your encrypted email to learn how to register for encryption. The first is in English, while the second is in Spanish.
