Starting July 1, 2022, PASC will implement encryption for all personal information sent via email. This encryption ensures that sensitive data remains secure and protects your personally identifiable information from unauthorized access. This change is part of a new law requiring us to encrypt personal data sent through email or text.
As a result, any document or email containing your personal information, such as the Provider Referral List or Eligibility Letters, will be encrypted to ensure your safety. We use a software called ProofPoint for this encryption. After receiving an encrypted email, you will have 30 days to view it before it becomes inaccessible.
